This Is It Houseboat

This Is It is designed around 3 spacious decks, the lower housing three cabins, the mid deck comprising living and dining areas and the top deck offering a central splash pool under shade. Railings and mesh all round makes this a child friendly houseboat.

Facilities include:

• 2 double cabins and 1 cabin with two sets of bunks (total of 8 guests in cabins)
• Mosquito nets in all cabins and for those sleeping on deck
• Large tinted windows opening out onto the lake
• 2 bathrooms with shower, toilet and basin
• Cold water shower on Bermuda deck
• Hot water is supplied by solar power and gas
• Fitted kitchen with gas hob/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and toaster
• Cold space including 4 Coleman cold boxes, 3 deep freezers
• Generator run time is 6 hours per day
• Mid deck lounge and dining area is fully enclosed with glass sliding doors and seating for 12 guests, TV, DVD and water cooler
• Sun deck and large splash pool under shade with sun loungers and garden furniture
• 1 x mini pontoon tender boat (8 seater) and 1 x Chessa speedboat (4 seater) for fishing and game viewing.
• Railing and mesh all round making it a child friendly houseboat (although children must be watched at all times)
• 3 crew (Captain, chef and deck hand)
• Life rings, life rafts and fire fighting equipment on board
• Moored at Marineland harbour
• Boarding at 12:00pm and disembarking at 10:00am

Rates include:

• Houseboat and tender boat hire
• Crew
• All linen and mosquito nets

Rates Exclude:

• All fuel and outboard oil (the main vessel, tender boats and generators will be full before departure- on return to harbour at the end of the trip you will be required to re-fuel these and settle in USD cash at that time)
• Fuel consumption is approximately 90 litres per night for the main vessel and 20 litres per tender per night
• All meals, drinks, condiments, toilet paper, serviettes, washing liquid, soap and personal toiletries etc.
• Fishing equipment and bait
• Ice (recommended 4 blocks per day during winter and 5 blocks per day in the summer months)
• Swimming towels
• National Parks lake usage and fishing fees
• First aid kit
• Vehicle parking fees
• Crew gratuities

2 night charters - up to Antelope Island 
3 night charters - up to Palm bay
4 night charters - up to Sanyati west
5 night charters - up to Elephant point
6 nights or more - up to the Ume
